During the initial days, NFTs were equated with luxury goods. In simple economic terms, a luxury good is a good for which demand increases more than proportionally as the income rises. More often, they’re high-end goods, and consumers keep raking them up as their purchasing power rises.
During the early days, not everyone from the crypto-sphere exposed themselves to NFTs. However, as the whole concept became mainstream with time, even everyday investors/traders started jumping onto this bandwagon. And, more than HODLing tokens merely for prestige, the motto has shifted to booking profits. As a result, it wouldn’t be wrong to contend that they’re no longer luxury goods.
So, if you’re new to the space and want to test the waters yourself, we’ve got you covered. MetaMask, as such, is a crypto wallet that lets you HODL NFTs and OpenSea is the largest NFT marketplace. So, in this article, we’ll debunk how you can start your NFT journey by creating a MetaMask wallet and then connecting it with your NFT account on OpenSea.
How to get started
Before connecting MetaMask to OpenSea, you must ensure that the former’s extension is downloaded and installed on your browser. If not, install the same and get started by creating a wallet.
