Kraken pulls back from using signature bank.

Crypto exchange Kraken is pulling back from using crypto-focused bank Signature Bank for some significant financial transactions, according to a report,  in the latest move away from a specific bank by a crypto exchange.

Revolut’s 2022 revenues grew by 33%.

Fintech company Revolut registered a 33% revenue jump last year, its finance chief said. Revenues at the company increased to more than $1 billion in 2022 on the back of payments, subscriptions and business accounts, despite a downturn in crypto, which is a key part of the group’s business.

Crypto options exchange Deribit to offer Bitcoin volatility futures.

Deribit, the world’s largest crypto options exchange by volume, will soon launch bitcoin volatility futures, offering digital asset investors a simpler way than options to hedge against market volatility.

US Initial Jobless Claims

The Initial Jobless Claims is a measure of the number of people filing first-time claims for state unemployment insurance.  The US Initial Jobless Claims will be released at 13:30 GMT, the US Unit Labor Costs at 13:30 GMT, the Eurozone’s Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices at 10:00 GMT.

US Unit Labor Costs

The Unit Labor Cost shows the total cost of employing a labor force. It can serve as an indicator of trends in production costs, share prices, and inflation.

EMU Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices

The HICP is a measure of price movements or inflation harmonized across EU Member States. It is similar to the national Consumer Price Indices (CPI).

FR 10-y Bond Auction

The auction sets the average yield on the bonds auctioned off. Yields are set by bond market investors, and therefore they can be used to estimate investors’ outlook on future interest rates.
