Literally called the “Crypto Building” this property has 24 floors with a basement that has a Bitcoin mining farm. This unexpected inclusion was mostly due to the profits that the mining process offers. The builders intend to generate an income through Bitcoin mining for the building’s operations. Thanks to this, residents wouldn’t have to worry about covering the costs of the building’s maintenance and upkeep.

Bitcoin mining farm, inside a residential property, comes as a surprise to many. Time and again proof-of-work [PoW] cryptocurrencies have been disregarded by the government’s across the globe for their energy consumption. As miners try to find new sustainable ways of mining Bitcoin, several activists are pushing for a ban. In certain regions, the noise emitted by the BTC mining farms has forced residents living near them to file a lawsuit. Argentina currently has no law that governs Bitcoin mining. As a result, the region is luring a slew of miners.

Amidst all of this Crypto Building is emerging as the first-ever residential building in the world to mine Bitcoin.

The building reportedly entails over 100 apartments with bedrooms ranging from 2 to 4. Located in Belgrano the capital city of Buenos NexAires, the construction of the building is all set to take place in Q2 of 2022. Despite this, most apartments have already been pre-sold.

With NFTs taking over the world, the building is all set to portray an array of NFTs as decoration in its lobby.
