US President Donald Trump cleared the way for Nvidia to sell its most powerful H200 AI chips to China. The approval comes with a condition that 25% of all the chip sales will be paid to the US government as part of the deal. Trump wrote on Truth Social that Xi Jinping “responded positively” to the proposal. Also, the US kept another condition that the sales will be allowed to “approved customers” only. Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) soared nearly 1.75% on Monday, touching $185 in the day’s trading session.
